Milena has been having strange dreams, but  that's not the only oddity in her life. One day, she is confronted by the fact that magical creatures like bear shifters and vampires exist, and live among us.

Milena is the main character of the Last Vasa series. She is a Swede of Polish descent and her family has kept a secret for generations. By accident, Milena discovers she has magical powers and, as time passes, she discovers her ancestor's greatest secret.

She lives in Malmö with her mother, Amelia, and attends the Malmö Latinskola, one of the city's most prestigious schools.
